		<description>1and1 you can do it but its not a very good place to use as they are very cheap, tech support is not great, and they are not going to allow you to use much cpu/mem resources. There are a lot better cpanel hosts out there you can use that focus on people starting hosting companies.

To protect your site&#039;s files with a password you can do that in cpanel using the password protect icon.

If 1&amp;1 allows you to host multiple domains and multiple FTP users, and you&#039;re smart enough to be able to keep others from figuring out how to log in to the panel and deal only with their own FTP, then I see nothing in the 1&amp;1 TOS that prevents you from charging others to use your Web space.</description>
